Calm Me, Calm You

A 6 week group for parents and carers to learn about regulation with experienced trauma-informed therapists.

We know that if the parent/carer is stressed or their “tank is empty” it can be extremely difficult to positively support a child’s emotional wellbeing.

Working with Beth from Geelong Meditation Centre and Sarah from OKAY therapy you will learn:

👌A variety of simple and practical strategies for self-regulation and emotional regulation.

👌Mindful movements for stress release.

👌The principles of mindfulness and meditation with simple and achievable ways of integrating these into your daily life - some meditations taking less than a minute to do!

👌The theory and practical application of self-compassion (i.e. being a friend to yourself and treating yourself with kindness and encouragement) during and after a difficult experience with your child.

👌Actionable strategies that can support co-regulation with your child.
